Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 9, 2026. This policy explains what the AI Power Guild collects, why, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect as little as we can to map demand, run the workshops, and power AI assistants — and you can delete your account at any time.
The AI Power Guild helps people use AI in their roles through workshops, relevant content, recommendations, and AI assistants or bots. This policy covers the personal information we handle when you visit the site, submit intake answers, create an account, or interact with those assistants.
This is our current policy for the service as it works today. It is not legal advice. If a future feature changes what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page first.
Sign-in identity. When you sign in with an OAuth provider, we may receive your email address, name, profile picture, a provider identifier, and related account metadata. If you sign up with email, we store the email address you provide.
Information you submit. Your intake answers — your role and which kinds of AI help interest you — along with any pain points, event bookings, referrals you send, messages, and requests you make of AI assistants or bots. The intake itself does not ask for your email; we only learn it if and when you create an account.
Guide applications and guide profiles. If you apply to become a guide, we store your application — the role you propose and your answers about your audience and how you reach them. If you become a guide, the profile you maintain (your display name, photo, description, and any links you add) is displayed publicly on the role pages you guide.
Content engagement. If you receive our content digest emails, we record when you open them and when you click links in them. Clicks on items on the news page are also logged — for visitors who are not signed in, we keep only a daily-rotating fingerprint used to limit abuse, never your IP address.
Delivery suppression. If digest emails to you bounce permanently or you report one as spam, we store a timestamp recording that we stopped sending digests to you.
Billing and payments. If you buy a paid membership, payments are processed by Stripe — your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We store your subscription's status and renewal date and a record of each payment (date, amount, description) so we can show your plan and billing history.
A colleague's email, only if you give it. If you invite a colleague, we use their address once to send a single invite they can opt out of.
We use the information we collect to operate the service, personalize workshops and recommendations, provide AI assistants and bots, send transactional notifications, send marketing communications you can opt out of, improve the service, protect against abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Information you provide may be used to inform AI assistants and bots. That information may be processed on cloud-hosted platforms and by service providers that help us run AI, hosting, storage, email, security, analytics, and support infrastructure.
AI providers acting as our service providers process this information to deliver features on our behalf — not as independent marketing partners.
We may use your email address for transactional notifications (such as account, security, and booking messages) and for marketing communications about workshops and the service.
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time. We may still send service, security, account, and transactional messages, which are part of operating your account.
You choose how often the content digest arrives — or never — from your account page, and every digest includes an unsubscribe link. If digest emails to you bounce permanently or you report one as spam, we stop sending digests automatically; your chosen frequency is kept, and you can contact us to restore delivery.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information with marketing partners.
We may share information with service providers that process it for us — for hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, security, customer support, cloud infrastructure, and AI assistant or bot operation. We may also share information with your direction or consent, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
Anonymous aggregate demand answers persist as long as they are useful signal — anonymous answers carry no identifier, so they stay as pure aggregate even after an account is deleted.
A colleague's invite address is deleted within 90 days of sending — and immediately if they opt out. After that we keep only a one-way fingerprint, just enough to honor an opt-out and avoid re-inviting the same person.
You can opt out of marketing emails, and you can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your account, your intake answers, your session bookings, any invite you sent, any guide application you submitted, and — if you are a guide — your presence on role pages. Anonymous aggregate answers, which carry no identifier, remain because they are not tied to your account. Engagement events, such as opens and clicks, lose their link to you when your account is deleted and remain only as anonymous aggregate counts. Payment records are retained for accounting after account deletion, with their link to you removed; Stripe retains payment information under its own policies until we delete your customer record there.

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, and we expect the service providers that process information for us to maintain appropriate safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The service is intended for adults using AI in their work. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes to what we collect, how we use it, or how AI providers process it will be reflected here before the change takes effect.
